Annabelle’s studio is the laboratory where she works, like a scientist, with her various tools - fisherman’s nets, hiking ropes, rusty railroad spikes, and multiple sizes of hammers and scissors. Electric-colored strings and ropes bind ceramic shapes to one-another like radioactive tracers, where the world of nature and the world of science collide. Links of hardened white earth are attached to one another in multiple chains that both defy and underscore nature’s real fragility. Unique and one of a kind.
