This story is simple- we wanted a softer flavor profile than the one usually offered at restaurants. This is a blend of tulsi (holy basil), spearmint, rosehips, lemon myrtle and linden blossoms. Aside from this herbal blend having great medicinal properties such as soothing coughs, colds, and fevers; it also has a deliciously subtle sweet flavor.
Tulsi, or holy basil, is an aromatic plant native to the Indian subcontinent and flourishes as a cultivated plant throughout the humid and tropical climates of Southeast Asia. It has been used in Indian culture as a religious, spiritual, and healing herb for more than 5,000 years. In Ayurveda, tulsi is considered an adaptogen, a natural herb that helps the body adapt to environmental, physical and emotional stressors, support normal functions and restore balance.
Spearmint grows well in nearly all-temperate climates. It is
a herbaceous, rhizomatous, perennial plant. Some of the most important health benefits of spearmint include its ability to improve digestion, boost respiratory health, optimize hormonal levels, relieve stress, increase circulation,
