Mystic Mint

This story is simple- we wanted a softer flavor profile than the one usually offered at restaurants. This is a blend of tulsi (holy basil), spearmint, rosehips, lemon myrtle and linden blossoms. Aside from this herbal blend having great medicinal properties such as soothing coughs, colds, and fevers; it also has a deliciously subtle sweet flavor.

Tulsi, or holy basil, is an aromatic plant native to the Indian subcontinent and flourishes as a cultivated plant throughout the humid and tropical climates of Southeast Asia. It has been used in Indian culture as a religious, spiritual, and healing herb for more than 5,000 years. In Ayurveda, tulsi is considered an adaptogen, a natural herb that helps the body adapt to environmental, physical and emotional stressors, support normal functions and restore balance.

Spearmint grows well in nearly all-temperate climates. It is
a herbaceous, rhizomatous, perennial plant. Some of the most important health benefits of spearmint include its ability to improve digestion, boost respiratory health, optimize hormonal levels, relieve stress, increase circulation,
maximize heart health, and protect the integrity and strength of the immune system.

It is a powerful antioxidant, antiseptic, rich in the essential oil citral, and minerals like calcium, zinc, magnesium, and it has a healthy helping of vitamins A and E.

Linden flowers and leaves have long been used for medicinal purposes. The health benefits of linden are largely due to the high concentration of phytonutrients and flavonoids. its soothing properties have been known
to reduce mental stress and anxiety. The antioxidant content of linden is one of the best qualities this plant has, particularly effective for protecting
the skin against signs of aging and exposure to the sun as you age.
